The Culinary Futures Scholarship is a key initiative of the GALA Legacy Foundation, created to expand opportunities, representation, and cultural leadership in the culinary world. Rooted in heritage and committed to equity, we support emerging Caribbean and diasporic culinary talent on their path to becoming the next generation of chefs, innovators, and cultural storytellers.

Through this scholarship, eligible recipients receive direct financial support for their tuition at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) — one of the world’s top culinary schools.

All scholarship funds are paid directly to the CIA on behalf of the student, ensuring proper stewardship, transparency, and impact.

This program is driven by community contributions and partly supported by Jerk Reserve™️ — where a portion of proceeds helps nurture future leaders in food.
